New Sum 41 Music Video Features Many a Meme

This truly is the summer of pop punk resurgence. Between Blink-182, Green Day, Simple Plan and Good Charlotte, a number of albums have been released or are soon to be released that 15-year-old me really would have enjoyed, and current me probably will still like.

Oh, and let's add Sum 41 to that list. The Canadian pop punkers just dropped the first single from their album 13 Voices, an aggressively...well, aggressive song called "Fake My Own Death." The music video is a meme lovers dream, featuring all kinds of annoying things flying across the screen while the band plays amidst the battlefield. This is the first album that features three guitar players, so it should lend itself to some creative sound. We'll see – for now, this is plenty to nod your head to.

Dances Is A Band You Really Should Be Listening To

Dances is a Brooklyn-based band that is just as catchy as their name would imply. Made up of Trevor Vaz, Sam Stoeltje and David Su, you'll hear everything from punk to rock to Britpop to 60s psych. After releasing their EP Whiter Sands in 2014, the band is set to drop its debut LP Keep Talking on September 4th via Black Bell Records/Gigawatts Records.

The Offspring Release New Song "Coming For You"

Punky veterans The Offspring just dropped a new song from their untitled tenth studio album. "Coming For You" follows the recent Offspring trend of kind of ripping off their own music, with an intro that sounds like their 2008 song "Stuff Is Messed Up." Going even further, the misheard lyric of "Donkey Kong" in the chorus has already happened once, way back on 1994's "Genocide." But hey, it's still a rockin' song, and should get the toe tapping. And that's really all we can hope for from a song.

Listen to Rise Against's New Song: I Don't Wanna Be Here Anymore

Chicago rockers Rise Against have a new album dropping on July 15. But until The Black Market is released in about a month, the band is hoping single "I Don't Wanna Be Here Anymore" will tide listeners over. And it sounds quite a bit like the group's recent work--in fact, it would fit right at home on 2008's Appeal to Reason. Lots of "hey"s, crunchy guitars, and repeats of the chorus. A catchy number, but I'm hoping the album as a whole offers a bit more diversity.

Your Daily Song: "Get Free" by The Vines

I heard this song for the first time in a LONG while today. And it brought back some great memories of 2004 or whenever it came out. Lots of unintelligible stuff. Beautiful. 

Your Daily Song: "Growing Up (Falling Down)" by The Living End

This jam by Australian trio The Living End has a distinctly late 90s/00s feel to it, probably because it came out around that time. Makes sense. In any case, the chorus is mad catchy, and this is one of my favorite guitar solos to play along with. And just kind of in general. Check it out!

AFI's got a new album coming out in a week. Seems like as good a time as any to listen to the song that  really made them famous. Also it's really hard to not sing along to this song. What FOLLOWWWWWWSSSSS!

Any song that reminds me of the 60s is a winner in my book. Try not to tap your toe to this song. Go ahead, I DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU.

Your Daily Song: "Blind" by Face to Face and Rise Against

Rise Against recently released a compilation album, and it included this cover of a Face to Face song. Really dig it, and although this live version doesn't do it nearly as much justice, the recorded versions on YouTube are bad quality, so this'll work!
