Google Goes 8-Bit for April Fool's Day

They gave us a heads up about it yesterday, but Google is at it again with some April Fool's tomfoolery. Claiming that older computers couldn't load Google Maps, the crew has changed said maps to 8-bit, NES-style graphics. And it's pretty entertaining.

Just click on the "Quest" mode in the upper right-hand corner of Google Maps and you can find landmarks and go on an old-school adventure of your own. Here's the video describing how you too, may find Google Maps on your NES.

UPDATE: Search Engine Watch has provided us with images of virtually every landmark you can discover on Google Maps, as well as a ton of other April Fool's Easter eggs Google's put out for us to find.
