Dunk of the Night

Any time I can show a nasty dunk AND rep my hometown Chicago Bulls? I have to take it! Last night's NBA action was understandably overshadowed by the BCS Championship game, but there was still one very nice alley-oop by Derrick Rose against the Pistons. Ironically, the pass was thrown by Ronnie Brewer, who we all know is an expert at dishing alley-oops. Enjoy the monstrous dunk below.

And let's not forget this isn't the first time Rose has completed an alley-oop that made Detroit look silly.

This Day in History
1861- Alabama secedes. Little did they know a school from their state would win the football national championship 149 years later.

1908- Theodore Roosevelt names the Grand Canyon as a national monument.

1973- The designated hitter rule is adopted by the American League.
