Zach LaVine Does Dunk Contest Dunk In An Actual Game

Reigning two-time NBA Dunk Contest champion Zach LaVine is still having some fun out on the court, despite his Minnesota Timberwolves being perpetually terrible. This dunk is a good example: LaVine realizes there's no one around him, and turns what could have been a pedestrian slam into 360 madness that even got Hornets fans up off their feet.

Of course, Minnesota lost, but who's counting?

As reigning Slam Dunk Champion, Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine has some credibility when it comes to rating jams. In fact, you might say his credentials are a slam dunk!

This man B.A., who goes by BdotAdot5 on Twitter and other social medias, has some terrific basketball videos in his arsenal. Most recently, he made one of Russell Westbrook, and it is the most spot on thing. From the dunks to the attitude, it's remarkable. Even if you somehow don't know Westbrook's game, this should still crack you up. Well done, Bdot. Well done.

The Kentucky Wildcats rolled to a 13-point victory over the Cincinnati Bearcats in the Round of 32, but really, the game could have been called after this play in the first half. Kentucky's Willie Cauley-Stein just demoralizes Cincinnati's Quadri Moore with a dunk. I mean...look at Moore. He still doesn't know what's going on.

Richard Jefferson's Best Dunk Ever Got Ruined By An Official

This video description is perfect: Richard Jefferson dunks on MKG's soul, gets called for offensive foul. RJ is 34 years old and clearly on the downward swing of his career, but he mustered up an absurd amount of hops for this posterization of Charlotte's Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. Alas, an official thought Jefferson pushed off, and he was called for an offensive foul. UNACCEPTABLE.

Adreian Payne: Dunker, Celebrator Extraordinaire

Earlier this week, the college all-star shenanigans took place. It's basically a way for players who aren't still in the NCAA Tournament to take advantage of a little extra time in the spotlight. One of those players was Michigan State senior Adreian Payne, who dropped an incredibly impressive dunk.

But he wasn't done there.

Payne then picks up his basketball and executes a fairly complex and well thought out celebration. It involves at least seven other people from what I can see, and I really hope there was no forewarning it was coming at all. Either way, well worth the quick watch.

Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov is no stranger to being posterized, as he fell victim to probably Blake Griffin's most fearsome dunk. Well, he's back at it again, as a couple nights ago he tried to block a DeMar DeRozan drive. Let's just say Mozgov failed.

Vince Carter Fakes an Injury, Then Dunks

In a classic Vince Carter move, the Mavericks forward slipped and fell. Well, that part wasn't classic Vince—it's what came next that was. Carter began clutching at his ankle, causing Harrison Barnes, who was defending him, to move away from the corner where Vince was standing. Moments later, a rejuvenated Carter ran toward the basket, received a pass, and dunked the ball, before grabbing his wrist in what appeared to be a new injury. Beautifully played.
