Ice Cube Schools Bill Maher On His Language

Bill Maher recently said the n-word on his show, and naturally, there's been quite a bit of backlash. Maher has received quite a bit of criticism over the past week and there have been plenty of calls for his firing. Even as he said it, the audience responded with some groans. At the time, Maher kind of waved it off. He's since apologized, but his rationale for using the word in the first place isn't great.

On the latest episode of Real Time, Maher had regular guest Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, who condemned Maher's remarks but also initially came to the comedian's defense. The two had a back and forth that was pretty light-hearted and jovial, and it seemed as if that would be it as far as addressing the issue.

Fortunately, Maher also had Ice Cube on as a guest to promote the 25th anniversary of his album Death Certificate. Cube was kind enough to share his insights on both the word and the mindset of using it. The end result is a powerful monologue that had a notable impact on both the audience and Maher himself. Hopefully, it will have a lasting effect. Well done, Ice Cube.

Louis C.K. is All In on Hillary

Election Day is just a few short days off, and while many Americans have early voted (and you still can through tomorrow), there are still plenty who haven't yet made it to the polls. Louis C.K. has some advice for you: "If you vote for Hillary you're a grownup; if you vote for Trump you're a sucker; if you don't vote for anyone, you're an asshole."

Regardless of who you vote for, please go out and do it. Exercise your right to try and make your country better.

Comedian Steve Hofstetter Demolishes Heckler

Every time I've been to a comedy show, I've had the fortunate experience of getting to enjoy a comedian without a heckler trying to ruin things and put the spotlight on themselves. But not everyone is so lucky.

At a recent show, comedian Steve Hofstetter was talking about children, and how the simple act of having a child is not impressive. Rather, raising that child to be a good human in society - now that's something special. A mother in the crowd disagreed, and when Hofstetter said it was easier to have a baby than order a pizza ("have you ever ordered a pizza by accident?"), the woman has had enough.

She throws out some heckles at Hofstetter. He responds. The results are not pretty for her. Enjoy!

Carpool Karaoke With Jason Derulo Is Wonderful

The Late Late Show With James Corden is something I can honestly say I've never watched before. But if all the segments are like this one, that may have to change. Corden has a bit called "Carpool Karaoke," where he drives around L.A. with famous musicians, singing their own songs.

This time around, he's got everyone's favorite sayer of his own name, Jason Derulo. Corden has a couple of great burns in this, but Derulo isn't mad for too long. After all, he's got some dance moves to teach. And to cap it all off, the pair highjack a Starline tour bus and "Talk Dirty" with 'em. Enjoy!

Nasim Pedrad as Aziz Ansari Is Creepily Spot-On

Nasim Pedrad appeared on Conan O'Brien recently, and it was revealed that during her time at Saturday Night Live, the actress regularly pitched for her Aziz Ansari impression to make the show. Alas, it never did, but Team Coco had a treat for us: a scene from a sketch where Pedrad did, in fact, portray Ansari. Not only does she look startlingly like him, the voice is quite impressive, too. And you know this sketch would have been a lot funnier than one of the 74 game shows SNL trotted out last season.

This Man Is Interviewing Himself...From 20 Years Ago!

This is incredibly clever and makes me want to go back and search for old family videos to see if I could pull off something similar. Maybe. MAYBE WE CAN!!! If that's not a teaser I don't know what is.

Watch this dude, Jeremiah McDonald, as he interviews his 12-year-old self about everything and anything under the sun. Well, I guess the most obscure reference is to Dr. Who. Either way, this is really entertaining and worth checking out. So do it!
