This Inverted Recording Of "All-Star" By Smash Mouth Is Really Strange

Everyone and their mother is familiar with the tune "All Star" by Smash Mouth. You couldn't escape it when it was released in the late 90s, and it still pops up from time to time on radio stations and at community pools and bar mitzvahs.

For whatever reason, YouTuber dotflist decided to record a cover version of the song. But instead of simply covering it, he says every line backwards. So, instead of "All that glitters is gold," you get "gold is glitters that are." Does it make sense? Not at all. Is it enjoyable? Sure, a little bit. Do we need to question why this was even done in the first place? Absolutely.

President Obama Endorses Andre Drummond For All-Star Game...Kind Of

Pistons center Andre Drummond is having a career year, averaging 17.9 points and 15.7 rebounds a game, which is A) absurd, and B) leading the league. He's also helping Detroit stick around in a bid for a lower playoff spot, which is pretty impressive considering how bad the team has been the past decade or so.

In order to help convince fans to vote for him, Drummond and the Pistons released a video quoting none other than President Barack Obama. Okay, so it's really just a bunch of clips of Obama's speeches set to Drake's "Jumpman," but it's a good move nonetheless. Let's see how it plays out in the polls.
