Brilliant Ad Encourages Freelancers To Not Work For Free



Perhaps the worst thing in the freelancing world is the idea of working for "exposure," or in other words, for free. This is quite dumb, yet many people will do it, because helping...say, The Huffington Post make money while you make nothing is quite enticing to newer writers especially. After all, it's The Huffington Post! Everyone reads that, right?

Fortunately, Zulu Alpha Kilo has created an awesome video that shows why this very practice is so dumb. Here's a general hint: asking someone to do their job and then saying, "eh, if it's good enough, MAYBE we'll pay you someday" is not a good way to do business. I hope places learn this. We'll see.
