This song, like so many others, appeared in one of the American Pie movies. It's also easily Lit's most well-known song, and is awesome. Bonus fun fact: As far as I know, it's the only song which I can play entirely behind my head on Rock Band. And I can play it on real guitar, as well. All this is to say it's very, very simple to rock out to this song. That's a winning recipe in my book.
