Patrick Stewart Recites Taylor Swift's Lyrics, Improves Song By At Least 400 Percent

Sir Patrick Stewart is one of the greatest. That's really all that needs to be said as an introduction. As a teaser to his August 20th appearance on NPR's Ask Me Another, the legend read the lyrics of one of the most prevalent pop songs of the year: Taylor Swift's "Blank Space." It takes the crowd a few lines to recognize what's happening, but when they do...it's magical. Enjoy.

"Serial" Is Now A Romantic Comedy

NPR's Serial, a spinoff of This American Life, tore up the airwaves this fall, as it documented the true case of Anand Syed, who was convicted of murder in 2000, and has been serving a life sentence ever since. It's a morbid story for sure, but host Sarah Koenig's re-telling of the events has taken the nation by storm.

YouTuber Honora Talbott has created a parody of the podcast, with Koenig and Syed starring in a romantic comedy. It's very well done, especially since all of the dialogue is taken from the podcast itself. And it fits pretty well. The ending I could do without, but otherwise, spot on.

SNL Parodies Serial Podcast With Incredible Accuracy

Man, Saturday Night Live is on fire lately. This time they're spoofing the hit podcast Serial, and doing it with alarming hilarity. Cecily Strong plays a perfect Sarah Koenig, who's a little bit skeptical of the guy they call Santa Clause.

Everything in here, from Koenig's conversational demeanor, to her phone conversations with her subject, to the weird lawyer yelling like she's talking to a five-year old, is on point. Just so on point. Even if you've never seen Serial, this is worth a laugh. Enjoy!
