Vin Scully Recites Iconic "Field of Dreams" Speech

Longtime Dodgers play-by-play announcer Vin Scully is finally hanging up his microphone after this season, his 67th(!) with the team. Nobody has ever spent more time calling games for a single franchise than Scully has, and he's rightfully earned his status as a legend.

Now, in his final year in the announcing booth, Scully is taking on a legendary speech–the one from the iconic Field of Dreams. It's kind of amazing this hadn't happened yet, but I'm glad it did. Hats off to you, Vin.

Late Night with Seth Meyers Debuts Cut SNL Sketch With Andy Samberg

Sometimes entire Saturday Night Live sketches revolve around the same joke being driven into the ground, ad nauseum.

As a former SNL alum, Seth Meyers knows this, yet it didn't stop him from inviting Andy Samberg to perform a cut sketch from 2006 that features Samberg repeating the same line about "hitting the head" at a work party. The sketch, called "Wanna Come With?" features Kenan Thompson and Greta Gerwig.

And yet, despite literally being the same joke over and over again, Samberg's delivery, plus his 2006-era hair, is worth the price of admission. That price? Zero dollars, because this is a YouTube video. Enjoy.

Lonely Island, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots Perform "I'm On a Boat" with Classroom Instruments

Jimmy Fallon and The Roots are back playing with classroom instruments. This time they're joined by Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, aka The Lonely Island. While it's not nearly as good as Mariah Carey singing "All I Want For Christmas is You," I do enjoy the child-friendly alternatives to the many swears in the song (personal favorite: monkey funky). Well done, fellas.

Bill Simmons Believes in Any Given Wednesday

Bill Simmons has a show coming out on HBO Sports called Any Given Wednesday. Predictably enough, it airs on Wednesdays, starting June 22. And to get people hyped for it, he's released an "I Believe" promo, talking about all the things he believes. They may be good things, or they're things that should go away. And the final line is gold. I'm not sure how the show will fare, but I'll definitely tune in for the premiere.

This Mother Goose is Delightful

Via WLTW; James Givens/YouTube

In very cute news, a mother goose was concerned about her gosling, who was tied up in a balloon string. To get help, the goose pecked on the door of Sgt. James Givens of the Cincinnati Police Department.

Givens called on his partner Cecilia Charron, a specialist with pets of her own. The mother looks on as Charron goes to rescue the baby goose (also known as a Ryan Gosling), and happily, mother and child are reunited and get to swim along their merrily way. S'cute!

Matthew McConaughey Makes a Lot of Weird Noises

Owenergy Studios, the good people who brought us the "Owen Wilson Says Wow" supercut, is back at it again with another tremendous compilation. This time it's Matthew McConaughey, who's busy making crazy noises in all of his movies. Acting at its finest. Enjoy!

Steph Curry's Ultimate Career Mixtape

In case you missed it, Steph Curry set an absurd amount of records this year, from his 402 made threes to his team's 73-9 record. Oh, and he also became the first player to score 17 points during an overtime session, and won the first unanimous MVP award in league history. Not too shabby.

To celebrate the video game greatness that is Mr. Curry, the NBA created a little montage of plays that will make you either a) jump out of your seat, b) shake your head in disbelief, or c) flip a table in excitement. All are great reactions. Enjoy!

How Can You Learn Microsoft Excel? By Channeling Your Inner Justin Bieber, Of Course

If more teachers taught through song, the world just might be a better place. Fortunately, we've got professors like the University of Texas' Clint Tuttle, who teaches at the McCombs School of Business. And his business is hammering home his lessons with delightful parodies.

Take this one, for instance, where he changes the words from the Justin Bieber song "Love Yourself" to a more Microsoft, family-friendly version called "Learn Excel." It's wonderful, and the whole class starts getting into it by the end. Well done, Professor Tuttle. Well done.

Duracell Ad Powerfully Shows Effect of Hearing Loss

Meet Jim. He's a middle-aged man/recent grandfather, but he's missing a lot of life around him. That's because he has hearing trouble. This Duracell ad does a terrific job of showing what hearing loss is like, putting Jim in situations like being able to hear his coworkers speaking, but not knowing what they're saying, or being unable to hear a baby crying in another room.

As someone who plays music and is around a good amount of noise at times, I empathize with this a lot. And I implore you, no matter how old you are, take care of your ears. Wear earplugs when you're going to a show, don't use Q-tips, and try to stay away from backfiring cars. You've only got one set of ears; don't let 'em go to waste.

Jordan Schlansky Reviews Darth Vader Helmet

As a big Star Wars fan, Jordan Schlansky probably got quite a bit of enjoyment out of May the Fourth Day. Especially so when you consider what he got–a replica of Darth Vader's helmet from The Empire Strikes Back. Naturally, Conan is there to make fun of him every step of the way. Enjoy!

Playing GoldenEye on Alcatraz

There are good ideas in life, and then there are great ideas. This one falls under the ladder.

Chubbies Shorts has recreated the popular Nintendo 64 video game GoldenEye, only this version features real life people, and takes place on Alcatraz. Apparently all you need is a couple of Nerf guns and some GoPros. Enjoy.

Kyle Lowry Hits Halfcourt Shot to Force Overtime, Raptors Promptly Lose in Extra Session

Kyle Lowry has been abysmal all playoffs. Chalk it up to nerves, an elbow injury, or perhaps a combination of the two. So it seemed like the Raptors point guard had finally found redemption when he nailed this half courter against the Heat. It was especially impressive because the Raptors had been down by six with less than nine seconds left. Miami basically had to win the game twice...which they then did in overtime. The Heat dropped the first eight points of the extra session, and Toronto never had a chance. Maybe Lowry will finally bounce back in Game 2.

Can You Escape The Room On Instagram?

Even if you haven't participated into an "Escape the Room" experience, you've likely heard about it. A group of people work together to solve clues in a room, trying to figure out enough information in a set amount of time so that they can escape said room. It's thrilling, it's intense, and now it's on Instagram.

The work, done by Red Lion Canada, is being promoted by the Toronto Silent Film Festival to help spread the word about its program. See if you can be one of the lucky few who have made it out of the room intact.
