Louisiana Tech and Mississippi State Combine for 87-Yard Loss on 2nd and Goal

Sometimes in football, plays happen that just defy all sense of logic. This 2nd and goal effort from Louisiana Tech is a great example of that. The Bulldogs took on Mississippi State (also aptly named the Bulldogs) over the weekend and found themselves on the wrong end of an eventual 57-21 loss.

No one will remember any of that, though. The only thing people will take away from this game is this play. Louisiana Tech somehow turned 2nd and goal from the 7-yard line into 3rd and goal from their own 6-yard line. A shocking loss of 87 yards. EIGHTY-SEVEN.

Just let that sink in. How many things had to go wrong for that to happen? The most impressive thing in all of this is that Mississippi State had about four opportunities to score – Louisiana Tech was actually fortunate to come away with an 87-yard loss.

ESPN Stats & Info shared that the previous longest amount of yards to get a first down since 2004 was 57 yards when Georgia faced an epic third down against Tennessee. That record is no more. Amazing.

Dan Uggla Falls Off Hoverboard While Listening To Justin Bieber

Washington Nationals infielder got three PhunkeeDuck hoverboards for his family for Christmas. One of those was for himself, and whilst listening to some Justin Bieber, Uggla took the board for a spin. Unfortunately, he fell right on his keester. Luckily, the camera phone was running, and we got a nice blooper out of it. Good job, y'all.

Vanna White Has Most Graceful Blooper Ever

Vanna White has arguably the best job in the world. She gets to travel around the globe, and all she has to do during work is touch a screen to make a letter appear, walk, and look pretty. She added a fourth skill during a recent Wheel of Fortune episode: dragging a present.

As the set is Christmas-themed for the holidays, there's quite a bit of cheery decor around. That includes several gift boxes, one of which got caught on Vanna's dress. Pat Sajak got a kick out of it, and even got the producers to replay it twice during the closing part of the show. Such grace, Vanna!

Reporter Interviews Kristen Wiig And Bill Hader About Movie Without Actually Having Seen Said Movie

Ah, the power of research. Or, in this case, lack of it. KWGN's Chris Parente interviewed Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig, who are in the upcoming movie The Skeleton Twins. That's all well and good, but either Parente or an intern have their information wrong (or just hate Hader and Wiig).

Why, you ask? Parente tells Wiig she went nude in this film, and then asks if she has any advice for it. He also says there's a lottery winner and Muppets involved. Fortunately for him, Wiig and Hader are both good-natured about it. Hader says that he's the nude one, and that he's upside down the entire movie. Oh, and it's set on Mars. Can't wait to see it!

Carly Rae Jepsen's First Pitch Is Still Trying to Find Home Plate

Canadian pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen threw out the first pitch at the Tampa Bay Rays game over the weekend, and as you may be able to tell from the video thumbnail, it wasn't pretty. At least she could laugh about it though, as she joined the annals of "Worst First Pitches in History." Way to go, Carly!
